We deployed the latest version of wikimetrics just now, and it has a new feature. There is now a "Pick Defaults" section in the report creation screen. This lets you set parameters that apply to more than one metric. You still have to pick the metrics, but when you do any defaults you've already set will be applied. If you have more questions, I can try to help. Johnathan Morgan was the one who requested this feature, he may be able to speak to it more as well.
