Hi Guys,
I had an interview with Heather Ford from Ushahidi on Saturday at the iHub and she would love to have a session with WMKE members and Wikipedians when she comes back to Kenya.
As far as the dates go - It might be in the range of the 11th -
18th...this would be awesome as the tentative date for the meeting is 12th November at the iHub. Maybe we could synch??
So what are your thoughts and suggestions towards this? Should we have a meetup with her? I will be setting up an event page where guys can RSVP but first i need your input on it.
Best,
Thanks so much, Limoke!
Just to add: I was thinking that we could have a small working session as an opportunity for you guys to talk more about the activities you're planning (WP takes Nairobi etc) and for us to talk through some of the trends in Swahili Wikipedia and some of the challenges that Wikipedians are facing editing on .en
If Aaron is coming, then this would also be a great time to do video interviews after the meeting on the 12th?
The iHub has confirmed the date, so it's up to you guys.
Over to Limoke :)
Best, Heather.
