Hey Steve,
Thanks for the awesome work on this. As you said, there's still alot to be done. We need around 400 entries so we haven't even scraped the surface.
I'll embark on a mini hackathon myself tomorrow and hope to have a huge chunk done.
Cheers, Alex.

Hi Guys,
I would like you to check out on the progress in the wikipedia takes Nairobi project at http://alturl.com/oxgt9. You will note that there are some categories still vacant that need to be filled by us ASAP.
A meta page has also been set up at http://alturl.com/tx24h for you to post your views and comments.
BTW, I am hoping that we will have our 2nd Wikisaturday at the end of this week in JKUAT (Juja campus), that is the 25th June, 2011 and I would suggest we have wikipedia takes Nairobi on our Agenda. All are welcome!
Regards, Steve

Hello,
I am contented to wise brief you that there is another local trip around Nairobi thoughtfulness of the Wikimedia Foundation. Moreover, everyone is qualified to go this time round and at their own time!!
However, I wish to elucidate that the trip shall be electronic, private and remote in style and nature. All members subscribed to this mailing list are requested to have a computer with internet access, then visit the page, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_takes_Nairobi/Goals which shows the target areas for WTN so far gathered and bear in mind that we need to have more than 400!
Afterwhich you can post your trip report and findings at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_Takes_Nairobi.
If you were keen to this thread there were target areas for the WTN posted by Alex.
As such you are expected to examine articles about Items, places, buildings companies, hospitals, universities, supermarkets,Monuments, hotels e.t.c. in Nairobi, then check them out if they contain a picture. If they do not have a picture on them then feel permitted to fill them in the right category at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_takes_Nairobi/Goals.
In case you have any misunderstanding mess or obstacle in doing this .. You know what to do! I am sorry if you were offended.kindly contact any member of wikimedia KE.
Very Truly
I think Wikipedia Takes Nairobi offers us yet another chance to populate wikipedia with local and relevant content.I have just realized that most of the buildings i know of dont have wikipedia articles.I hope it is in order to place them in our wikipedia takes nairobi then I(we) create articles for them.?is it part of the scope?i thot it wise to ask before i start working and if so anyone keen on helping with the creating of new articles for this building we work together?
