Hi Abbas,
thanks for this detailed and quick answer.
Of course I understand that the Anniversary - and your first public event! - was much more important than finishing the bylaws. I am happy to see that you have already a schedule to get that part done as well.
The chapters meeting is only for recognised chapters but there have been exceptions in edge-cases, and I think WMKE is such an edge-case. Furthermore, if you publish the finalized bylaws it is likely that you will be a recognised chapter until the end of March. I will try to get an answer from the organisers - though I have already asked last week without getting a response.
Keep up the spirit and good work!

Alex, I might not make it for the meeting on Saturday as I am still finalising my attachment arrangements here in Kisii. Nevertheless, go ahead and plan the meeting and I will inform you by Friday whether I can make it. @Grace, Oscar and Sarah are from JKUAT and though they are committed, they are still covering the Kakamega region. Only Nyeri has a problem due to Wangai's commitment, (Wangai was the planned pilot leader the since he knows the place better). I therefore don't see it necessary for us to go the way you suggested. Instead if we could find someone to lead the Nyeri team, that is when we can forge the way forward. Abbas, you said Oscar and his team have already decided when to undertake the project. referring to this, my assumption is that the kakamega team is already complete. (At least 6 guys as Alex suggested). If that is the case the congrats to the team, But as you mentioned, and as I still insist, the Nyeri team is not clearly defined. We need a leader, then guys can be assigned there (As Grace said sometime back, guys we should not choose where we wanna go, rather we should be assigned). Thanks
