Wire transfers usually take around 5 working days to be processed, so it may be a little too late for that.

Hi guys,
So to give a status update on the Kabarak trip;
The partakers shall be leaving for Nakuru from Nairobi on Friday the
23rd September 2011. The real occasion shall be the day after, which
is 24th. (This Coming Saturday).
The long-established attendees so far are:
1. Stephen W. Wanjau.
2. Abbas Mahmoud.
Any other interested attendees should feel free to indicate their
availability for this outreach mission on this mailing list. Thank you for the detailed status update, Stephen! I would like to encourage one or two additional folks to join this (you will be reimbursed for travel[1]), _in particular_ those of you who have never attended a public talk about Wikipedia before. In general, it is a good idea for WMKE to always try to include new and less-experienced members in all activities, in order to provide "safe" (i.e. passive) learning opportunities to build confidence and to effectively share knowledge and experience.
Cheers, Asaf [1] If there's a problem paying the costs and waiting for the start-up grant to get reimbursed, we can _advance_ you money right now (i.e. in a couple of days). This wire transfer would of course be to one of you individually, as you don't yet have a registered NGO and bank account. Let me know if this is the case. (though it's certainly simpler to include it in one big transfer when the startup grant is ready.)
