This statistics are telling ...i mean no women active editors ,and men are not spared also ,no bureaucrat on MediaWiki of either gender, No Kenyan of either features in fundraising appeal , Now that we are the newest chapter we need to stand up and be counted ,personally i would love to take part in the next Fund raising appeal,

Are they? Are we worried about there not being a featured article on Women's sports in Kenya on English Wikipedia? How is that a priority?
With all due respect, Asaf, I don't think its a question of prioritizing women's issues over content. It doesn't (and shouldn't, I believe) be an *either/or* issue. Ideally, we should be thinking of building inclusive, diverse communities who write a diverse range of Wikipedia articles. These two things go together, not in any particular order.
If
we care about featured articles (and I'm not sure we should, very much), perhaps we can undertake to improve a more basic topic first, such as [[Kenya]], which is, as of this writing, not even a "Good Article" on English Wikipedia?
Likewise, is it at all meaningful that there was no Kenyan woman among the eight (8!) researchers employed at the foundation this summer? There was no Kenyan man, either. So what is the "perspective" this gives us on women in the movement?
What is it that you found alarming?
