Hi,
I have noticed Chris noticing that I noticed the WFS Kenyan edition needs to be compiled ASAP and so I had been populating the topics on the meta.
As for the budget and logistics, I am comfortable handling given that it's a 'small' trip.
BTW,how many should go? 2 or 3? Please advice.
However, I would like you (WMKE) to chip in and prepare the other aspects of the visit.
I.e. *the topic and contents of the talk. like Jwild has already done by providing the link http://outreach.wikimedia.org/ wiki/Student_Organizations and thus preparing the slidez.
*what could be done on the material day to make the day a great success to the students and us. Kindly forward your suggestions as early as today.
cheers, steve

I had a chat with Steve regarding the budget and it's one of those things that requires a single head, the budget's relatively small: transport, accommodation for 2-3 people. Hardly requires a discussion around it.
Well the schedule's and what we are going to present is another story. More collaboration on that should be great.
Alex.
Chris, Don't you think Steve would speak for himself? He has not complained plus he is the one in charge of the Kabarak Visit and knows all the nitty-gritty details of the same....;-),just my thought.... Cheers

Hi everyone, definitely I too second for the appointment of Steve as the interim treasurer. I think he can serve well under the position since he is a dedicated and hardworking member of the group. However, we can't just delegate all the duties of preparing the budget as well as the agenda to him only. I strongly feel that is a bit too much as he is already involved in the Kenyan syllabus project. So I would suggest we have other members picking up various roles as we prepare for the Saturday meet-up. Anyway have a great day. Regards, -- *Chris A.
