Hi All,

Myself, Jason Moore in Portland, OR, and other participants of Wikimedia LGBT https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_LGBT/Portal (a proposed usergroup) have been organizing an Edit-a-Thon campaign called *Wiki Loves Pride 2014*. We hope the campaign will reach community groups and institutions interested in diversifying Wikipedia and adding information to articles on LGBT topics. Along with others, Jason and I both helped out organizing the Wikipedia Art+Feminism Campaign https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/ArtAndFeminismand hope to replicate this wildly successful model with apt media and press outreach as well as catering to both wiki and non-wiki crowds.

Wiki Loves Pridehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wiki_Loves_Pride_2014, a series of Edit-a-Thons will take place in June (most likely around Saturday June 22nd).

If you are interested in volunteering to help organize these events or have a venue that you think would want to host an Edit-a-Thon please email me or wikiLGBT@gmail.com. We would love to have more co-coordinators and supporters.
