If you're looking for an excuse to come spend three months in Boston, this may be a great opportunity. For whoever ends up there: this is a beautiful library to work in.

Here's the issue. I'm truly interested in taking this up, but a) I'm stuck in New Jersey till May for college, and b) I'm not in ownership of a Bachelors of Arts in History yet. I have an AA in History, but still going to college (starting my 6th year in the fall) for the Bachelors. Right now, I could really use the money and the chance to see Boston for three months. However, right now as well, I've got nothing that she wants except 8 and 1/3 years of editing. I really could use the support if you think she'd be able to wave the BA thing.

Adam,
I think you would be considered as a candidate if you applied. You have the backing of the NYC Wikipedia community and with Wikipedia experience being a job qualification, you are a a superstar in that respect. You have the skills they are requesting. Why not apply?
If you want to chat about Wikipedian in Residence work then feel free to message me for a voice or video chat. I also expect that Dorothy at METRO would share her experiences with you if you asked. Dorothy Howard dorohoward@gmail.com
yours,
