I agree! It's something we should have, but haven't in the past.

Not much, actually. Remaining t-shirts have already been sent to a warehouse to sell through the store. We may reprint. Stickers aren't something we've made ourselves, only had lots from other orgs that we give out.
Also, I did some better research and found our birthday is officially based on the launch of freeculture.org which is April, not the first meeting of Swathmore Coalition for a Digital Commons in September. Extra time! Yay!

I might (might) have a small but very public space that's open 24 hrs/day; which I could present the idea of a '10 Years of Free Culture' exhibition to for October.
It would really depend on the materials avail; and it's not my final say on the gallery-side .. but I'd try!

Been thinking about this, too. I spoke with some folks after Techno Activism 3rd Monday yesterday and there was an idea of organizing a free culture/techno activism/Wikipedia festival/series of events on Governor's Island. This might be a great way of broadening the demographic of people who are exposed to the issues we're all involved in, especially because we're reframing them as social justice ones.

Hey all,
I'm hoping to have a blog post up in the next day or two encouraging people to set up local social events and chapters for the 10th anniversary of the org.
Does anyone else have additional ideas?
Best, Kyra

I like the idea of a FC art show; a retrospective but .. if there's not already a bunch of stuff organized together already I can't be of much help. Just a timing problem on my end.
I have a few things .. copies of Jay Z Construction Set + some old MIT / Harvard Free culture pins from mid 2000s but not much else =/
