Join the community effort to improve Wikipedia articles on Latin American
and Latino music and culture at New York Public Library for the Performing
Arts! (located at Lincoln Center)
Come in **this Saturday** June 15, and stay for the afternoon or drop in at
any time between 12pm and 5 PM.
NYPL staff will be on hand to provide information and instruction on using
the collections. Volunteer Wikipedians will be present to provide support
and instruction on editing Wikipedia. (Bring a laptop if you have one.)
And bring your friends and colleagues, we'd love to use this event to reach
out to more new communities :)

Join local Wikipedians for the "picnic anyone can edit" in Prospect Park,
as part of the 'Great American Wiknic' celebrations for Wikipedia, Free
Culture, and Open Education being held across the USA.
The picnic will be held on the beautiful Long Meadow from about 1-8pm , in
the section adjacent to the Picnic House.
Remember it's a wiki-picnic, which means **potluck**.
