== Learning & Evaluation team at Wikimania 2014 ==
We are now sharing some resources presented during Learning & Evaluation
sessions. A new blogpost is coming soon with more information on the
Wikimedia blog!
=== Learning Day ===
As part of the Wikimania pre conference sessions, we hosted a Learning Day,
that brought together grantees and program leaders from the movement on
Wednesday August 8. On this occasion, some program leaders gave lightning
talks on different learning experiences that involve their programs: Sandra
Rientjes talked about thematic approach to programs [1], Jake Orlowitz
shared his experience with The Wikipedia Adventure [2], Daria Cybulska
shared her experience reviewing Wikimedians in Residence program [3], and
Amanda Menking talked about her experience with Women and Wikipedia [4]. We
also shared a presentation on the Theory of Change and Logic Models as a
useful tool for evaluation planning [5].
=== Poster Session ===
This informal gathering brought together grantees and program leaders, and
was also a good opportunity to showcase some programs. The posters were
prepared in anticipation and mounted on stands. You can now see them on
Commons [6].
=== Growing the Awesome in Your Programs ===
We hosted a session where we shared the portal’s new design, looked into
the core points for program tracking and reporting and explored related
resources, as well as shared an overview of Wikimetrics [7].
