대학교재 저작권 포기 운동

부산대학교 경영대학 조영복 교수가 대학 교재 저작권 포기 운동을 시작했습니다.[1] 이 운동이 점차 활성화된다면 위키미디어 프로젝트가 지향하는 자유로운 지식의 보급에도 부합할 테니 위키미디어 프로젝트에서나 (나중에 생길) 재단 지부 차원에서 적극적으로 협력해볼 수 있지 않을까요? 이게 잘 진행이 된다면 위키백과에서 상대적으로 부실한 전문 분야의 자료를 보충할 수 있는 촉매로도 쓰일 수 있지 않을까 하는 생각이 듭니다. 이 프로젝트가 자유로운 지식을 쌓는 프로젝트의 새 국면을 열어줄 수 있으면 좋겠네요. 한국어 위키백과 편집자와 위키미디어 운동가들에게 전합니다. 저작권제도 개혁을 주장했던 아론 슈와츠의 죽음은 그가 주장했던 것의 본질은 무엇이고, 왜 그런 행동에 이르게 되었는지 생각해 보게 합니다. 아론 슈와츠에 대해서 레시그 교수는 이렇게 말했습니다.
