Dear colleagues,
Last year you participated in the "OA Diamond Study", a collective work undertaken by a group of 10 organisations commissioned by Science Europe and cOAlition S to explore open access journals that are free for readers and authors, and better ways to support them in the future.
I am pleased to announce that our work is now completed and that the results of the study are available in the following outputs:
- Findings Report - DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.4558704 https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4558704 - Recommendations Report- DOI:10.5281/zenodo.4562790 https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4562790 - References Library - DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.4562816 https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4562816 - Journals Inventory - DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.4562828 https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4562828 - Dataset - DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.4553103 https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4553103
As the project coordinator, I want to sincerely thank you for your contribution to this study. Without you, and the time you offered in answering our questions, our study would not have been possible. We dedicated some time also to analyse the open text answers many of you provided in the survey. We hope our report reflected well enough your valuable input.
Finally, I just want to inform you that the authors of the study will participate in a webinar organised by SPARC Europe the 9th of April at 2PM CEST, to answer questions from the community on this work, and start a collective discussion on the follow-up actions to consider. If you are interested, please register here: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_B5DpGZwRQq-v5u-lgFddWQ
P.S : You received this email because you participated in the OA Diamond online survey in 2020 and answered 'yes' to the question if you wanted to receive further information about this study.
Kind regards,
