Dear Mikael,
I hope this email finds you well. We are only 8 weeks away from Wikimania,
and that means also 8 weeks away from a definition of Wikimedia's future
role in the world and a collaborative strategy to fulfill that role.

Today, the second cycle of our movement strategy process comes to an end.
Please submit the summaries of your conversations today, by using the

== Cycle 3 ==
Cycle 3 will be running from June 22-July 11, 2017. In cycle 3, we will be
asking all of you to give feedback to a draft strategic direction, so that
we can finalize the it and then invite all organized groups to endorse it
before Wikimania.
This cycle will again allow for in-person as well as online conversations,
and we will share more details and tips shortly. We would like to encourage
you to already plan and schedule your affiliate’s conversations, as the
cycle is only 2.5 weeks long.
If you have already scheduled cycle 3 meetings according to the previous
timeline, please reach out to me so that we can see how to adapt the
conversation guideline accordingly.
== Affiliate-led events on movement strategy: For partners and (new!)

Until June 15, every affiliate that is interested in hosting an event to
discuss movement strategy with their partners and experts can apply through
this simplified and fast grant process: https://meta.wikimedia.org/

Induced by feedback from some of you, we will now also be offering some
funding for affiliate-led meetings and workshops with your communities. If
you are interesting in hosting and organizing such an event in cycle 3
(June 22-July 11), please reach out to me directly so we can discuss the
process.
We appreciate all the feedback we have received so far, and we look forward
to the final discussions happening in the upcoming few days. Let me know if
you have questions, ideas or concerns. I am happy to support you on the way
to Wikimedia’s strategic direction.
