hi, I'm using the wikibots regulary, but sometimes I am behind a proxy-server, and then the bot won't work... Is there a way to get it working also behind the proxy?? Is this function already implemented? koko

Hi all I'm currently working on several small enhancements that will hopefully make things easier for bots. I would like to point you to <http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/REST>, where I have put up a proposal for a lightweight bot interface, relying mainly on CSV. Are bots blocked on http://en.wikisource.org/ ? Deletion bug (fixed)

I have found that the deletion function has a bug. Apparently the tokens it uses for the page do not match the deletion token for the page, which seems to be different... I don't know if it is different for each page it deletes, but I developed somewhat of a hacked solution. If anyone wants to attempt to beautify it or create a better solution, be my guest. Okay... further investigation of viewing the page source is that the token is the same as the page itself, just for some reason the token it is getting is either stale or just damn weird... When I check the source page of (the typical edit page): http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Non-existing_page&action=edit The token is the same as (edit page I want to delete): http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:AllyUnion/test&action=edit And as well as (delete page of what I want to delete): http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:AllyUnion/test&action=delete Meaning that the exact bug is the return token from the getToken() function. Hi friends, I'm new to bots and have tried to read up on this list's archives, pages on meta, and the pywikipedia bot's source code. (I'm new to python too, but that's a smaller problem.) What I want is to upload a book to Wikisource. It comes in several parts, which should be subpages to the book's main page, e.g. my_book/1, my_book/2, etc. I have 1.txt, 2.txt etc. as plain (wiki)text files in a directory on my disk.
