Dear Community,
Some might have already read in Telegram: I would like to write a blog series and interview you during these next months.
Why?
I figured that there is no place yet that displays a Wikibase use cases more 'in depth' and explain how they are used. There is the registry https://wikibase-registry.wmflabs.org/wiki/Main_Page, yes, but I envision a conversational format in which one can talk about how they use their Wikibase and what types of content they are that interested in. In my ideal world, this can plant seeds for new conversations among you, but also open doors for new people to get to know Wikibase (better) and find like-minded people who make use of it as well. My plan is to see who's interested to talk first, set up a weekly schedule and start writing. The posts should not be longer than 600–700 words and I will ask for your approval, of course, before I publish them via: https://tech-news.wikimedia.de/.
I would like to know who of you might be interested to have such conversation. If so, you can write me a direct message.
I'm looking forward to this! :-)

Hi Valerie,
nice initiative! You can put me on the list for talking about https://lexbib.elex.is, if you want. We have to think when the interview can be, though, since these days I am quite busy. Thursday afternoons is usually the best for me...
Best regards,
David

Hi Valery,
I appreciate your initiative and I am a candidate for a talk about my favorite subject Wikibase. I am free of professional obligations (understand retired) but quite active in the Belgian chapter as a member of the board entertaining our ecosystem. I will be available for an online meeting on Mon 20/2 (beginning of the afternoon), Tue 21/2 (also in the afternoon), Wed 22/2 (at any time) or Wed 1/3 (late afternoon) - unless last minute modification I will notify you.
Up to you Dominique (LabDom)

Hey Valerie,
this is interesting. At Kunstenpunt (Flanders Arts Institute) we are in the process of making a big shift towards wikibase for our database ( databank.kunsten.be). I am doing experiments myself at https://osloddt.wikibase.cloud/wiki/Main_Page, but towards the summer, I'd like to reach out to professional help :o) For setting up the wikibase, and doing the import/export, of course. I'd love to document my steps and share the knowledge. It is also embedded in a big initiative that Flanders is pursuing on interconnecting several agencies that collect information on cultural activities.
I also seem to have lost access to the telegram group. Could you add me again, please?
Kind regards, Tom
