I can't talk about it beyond what Wikimedia Foundation has said publicly, but there's been a small public notice at law.com:

One thing on my agenda is to do some updating of the Winedale mailing lists (which are likely to continue for a while) to make sure everyone has everyone else's contact information. (My experience has been that sometimes no one gets around to moving mailing lists for years, but we should think about migrating the Winedale lists sooner, to be on the safe side.)
