For those of you who don't know Maggie yet, she is the darling young woman wearing the foam headdress (Sondheim: Follies!) and the bathing suit in the latest photos from Jerald. Our Kate in Taming, she managed to tame that final speech, maybe the biggest challenge of the summer. And that' s Craig as the Grim Reaper leading the parade, Grumio, and a merchant wearing lots of eye shadow in COE. Man, we worked so hard. We had so much fun. I had partly forgotten.
Also, that is Alice on Doc's right on the Texas Monthly cover, right, Al?!

If there is any possible upside to having your a/c replaced during July, in Texas, it is that it forced me into the Hades of my attic to clear out the boxes that had been up there 10+ years. I found this group of photos from 1977 including some great ones of Steve as well as my favorite one of those masterful vaudevillians, Mary and Christine. Give those girls a hat and a cane and watch what happens. Fosse,Fosse,Fosse! This is the link to the album.

I also found a copy of Texas Highways from 1978 with pictures of the class of 1977's performance of CE, and for an special added bonus a photo of Doc on the cover of Texas Monthly 1976. Though the photo is not in great shape, it is still amusing. I think Alice may have had something to do with this. Here's the link to those items.

Hi Mary,
So this will be fun! You don't remember what I look like at all!! I think that is Doc as the Grim Reaper and Nick Wilkinson with eye shadow in COE, but it certainly isn't me. I was Grumio, but I'm not sure which picture you are speaking of. My facade is in a few of the photos, though. Nancy Paul is in there too. Any idea of what became of her? Cant wait to renew old friendships and meet and make new and lasting ones....even though my appearance is apparently somewhat androgenous and transparent... :)
