Folks -- I urge everyone to follow the link Robert sent as soon as possible. I had no idea this was going on, and the message on the site from two weeks ago is very dire and alarming. The clock is ticking on a very critical and very expensive surgery.
If every one of us on the list so masterfully compiled by Mike gives something, the Winedale community will make a significant difference in the life of "one of our own" and in the lives of her two children.
And maybe we all have friends or family who would be willing to help too.

I'm not sure what year Katey was either, but I recall seeing her there and meeting her a few times at performances around town -- she always had a kind word to say about my feeble attempts to act.

Just received this from the wonderful person who created and runs Moxie. Katey ('90s Winedale, I don't know the year, I'm afraid) was my neighbor around the corner for a while in South Austin. Great gal, lovely kids.
Let's see what we can do to help. Kayci Wheatley is the owner of Moxie, if you can't come to the event, email her and perhaps there are other ways to contribute.
