Jackson, So that's what you were doing when we had dinner the other night. Must really be something when you're on a case as private detective. I've never seen you so effusive. Your guaranteed to have many opportunities throughout the week with a variety of Kates. mb

Dodgerly artful? Perhaps. But "by our show you shall know all. That you are like to know."
I too would like to unburden with perhaps an opposite (converse? infinitely bound?) problem with regard to scenes. I have for the last six months been doing Petruchio wooing Kate. Alone in my home. On the street walking to the subway. On the subway platform, on the subway, in my office, in the elevator to my office, in line at the bank, in front of the bank teller, yes, in the bathroom mirror, in my seat at the theater! - I confess it all. No, not occasionally -pshaw - When I wake up in the morning, when I go to bed - Every freeking day! I don't even try anymore to cover it when I realize people are looking at me. I'm lost in the infiitely expanding comedic insights I believe exist in the scene. (I dimly recall a similar more general, yet malarial, winedale syndrome suffered in my youth). And, yes, I am probably fooling myself! People can laugh -ha-ha, poor Jackson! - It's all be done! (yawn!) before! (again, yawn!)- exactly like this, I'm sure (although, I've never seen it this way). "I don't care!" (Tommy Lee Jones - "The Fugitive") I've lost all personal dignity, I'm lucky my wife hasn't left me, my son, perhaps, well, he's a little worried I guess, maybe, so I'm begging you each and every one of you - I'm an old man, for godsakes! --please give me five minutes in the barn - accompanied for my safety, fine, or Alone, I don't care anymore - I've got to get this MONSTER out of my system!
Thank you for your time. I'll be quiet now. Go about your business, folks, nothing to see here...

That should be on the boy's epitaph.

Now wait a minute, sure she can handle Vanessa but can she handle Terry?? A question to be asked!

Go for it, Michael.

Doc, Just to throw this out there, if it does not work out and you need a backup. My filmmaker daughter Kate who is in graduate school at Columbia currently, is an old hand at shooting footage like this, lots of interviews and filming an ongoing film production (which is not very different from this). She shot an impressive "making of" for us when we made White Countess where she interviewed Ralph Fiennes, Natasha Richardson, Vanessa and Lynn R, and Ishiguro, as well as some of the shooting days (when james ivory allowed it). I'm sure she would do this gratis. Just let me know if you want to consider this possibility. Camp Shakespeare sounds like a home run this year.

I very much agree, Bruce. I will ask Trey to look into his second option.

Doc not sure if you are asking for opinions, but here is mine anyway... I would say that I am fine with having someone else film the "special footage". From my perspective, I would like to hear and preserve candid conversation and personal connection, not merely the "performance". For me, it has always been about the process and the people and not what we do in front of the audience....

Hi Doc,
I have a big film shoot in Washington DC on August 11th,12th, and 13th. I have the Winedale shoot down for the 12, 13, and 14th of August. Obviously there is a two day overlap. I will not be able to
video Winedale alumni activities on the 12th and 13th of August personally. Depending on what you and the others want in the special
footage I could get someone to video for me on those days. I am assuming the actual performance is on Saturday the 14th. If so, I can still personally video that. So our first option is to cut the two days of special footage (12th, 13th) and just have the performance on the DVD. The second option would be for me to get someone else to video special footage (12th, 13th) and I video the performance on Saturday the 14th. The third option would be for the
alumni group to video each other. I can take that video and mix it into the DVD. I will adjust our cost for what ever we diced on. It will most likely be less now that I can only be there for one day. I
will understand if you and the others want to go with someone that can produce the hole thing in its entirety. Just let me know what you think. I am sorry about this. I just found out about this other
project in Washington DC today at work. Curtis Trey Leitko
