Hello all,
Nosy and I will visit the datacenter on short-term-base tomorrow and the day after, to install the remaining hardware and for some maintenance [1]; this will cause downtimes and rebootings between
Thursday: 15-24 o'clock UTC Friday: 09-22 o'clock UTC.
For normal the reboots will be announced on the shell 5 minutes before they happen, but accidents may happen; so please do not open files and leave your computer. If you plan to do something that takes some time (like a long download), please to it at night-times. If possible, use SGE [2] (you should always do that). We will try to be at IRC (at least from time to time), but we can not guarantee that.
Sincerely, DaB.

Hello all,
it took a few days (I was busy with work I moved because of the maintenance), but now you get the report of our visit at the colo: Nosy and Mark (Thanks to him at this point!) installed most of the new hardware at Thursday while I was in the train, and we all together finish the remaining tasks at Friday (we could even leave eailier than planed because nothing else was to do). Yarrow is up again, but needs a complete re-installation. Nightshade is down at the moment for unknown reason (it may be a hardware or a installation- problem); we look for it [1]. Independent of that, status.toolserver.org (which is still hosted by River) is defect at the moment – I will write an replacement, but it may take few days (if somebody has a html-copy of the working side in his/her browser-cache: please send me by email).
If you affected by nightshade: You can fix this yourself. Convert your non- webtools (like bots) into SGE [2]. Use submit for your crons, and login to willow (login.toolserver.org points now to willow, but you should not use it).
Sincerely, DaB.

Steef (thanks!) sent me a copy and so I have set up a fast (non-editable) replacement, it will take a few hours until the DNS-caches are clean. I will write a better replacement in the next days.
Sincerely, DaB.
