today Wikimedia created a new cluster, s5, containing dewiki (which is no longer on s2). a corresponding sql-s5 alias has been created at the Toolserver.

for now, sql-s2 and sql-s5 are on the same server. this means that you don't need to move user databases to another server to continue using them with dewiki.

since dewiki was the largest wiki on s2, people using it for replag calculations will need to select a new wiki. based on edit rates, i identified several candidates: itwiki, nlwiki, plwiki, and ptwiki. the IRC bot is currently using itwiki.
