the MySQL server on zedler will be upgraded to MySQL 5.0 some time today or tomorrow morning (within the next 12 hours). the downtime should be minimal; all database will be converted automatically.

MySQL 5.0 adds several new features such as SQL stored procedures and views to MySQL. a summary of changes can be found here:
