a part of the german community (all member of the same big ISP as far as I see) reported to me problems with the DNS of the toolserver. I doubt that the problems are on our end, but just to be sure: Have had anyone problems to reach the toolserver in the time since 20. Nov. until now, that are related to DNS (and is not a customer by german vodafon or arcor). I would be especialy interrested in non-germany-users.

There was a error on the leaseweb noc a few days ago. That was about a error between connectivaty in NL and DE.
Is that involved?

Right now: 502 Bad Gateway, when I'm in I get a SQL-Error 28 ( http://toolserver.org/~alexxw/Denkmalliste/index.php).
Location: Austria, Provider: Kabelsignal

Page loads fine in the UK, but I am quite familiar with the 502 error, which, on certain days, shows up on every second request or so. Might be coincidence, though.

I noticed a similar SQL issue with the Account creation project (just recently), which is a more critical project, so I'm thinking it's related. But otherwise i'm clear here in Canada, unless you have specific links you want me to try.

no, a DNS-problem would for example be "toolserver.org could not be resolved" in your browser and it would happen no matter which tool on the toolserver you try.

no, a DNS-problem would for example be "toolserver.org could not be resolved" in your browser and it would happen no matter which tool on the toolserver you try.
But wouldn't a DNS issue with attempting to contact the database by hostname bring up such error? (Because the ACC project issue started just yesterday or so (in my timezone).

That's not related.
A DNS error wouldn't cause MySQL to report "too many connections".
