We're going to be doing some network maintenance this afternoon, which might cause some intermittent (but hopefully short) service interruption.

This maintenance is now complete. There was a short period of downtime caused by a configuration error.
As a result of the maintenance, we have significantly increased the reliable of the network and Internet connection for the Toolserver (as part of Wikimedia's network upgrades at esams).
