LDAP is seperate from that and is not stored, that I know of, anywhere (especially not in clear text). The SSH authentication uses public_key and is also seperate. So there's SSH, LDAP, MySQL access and your SSO (Single Sign On) for web-services (such as JIRA, FishEye etc.) All seperate :-)

I have a problem regarding LDAP passwd. I tried 'acctrenew' but it said my LDAP passwd is wrong. I tried to reset my LDAP passwd by 'resetpasswd'. It said I need to set my email address. To set email address, I need to provide correct LDAP passwd. I'm in the loop. Would you help me?

In addition, when I was trying to run 'passwd', I got the following message. wiki_researcher@willow:~$ passwd passwd: Changing password for wiki_res passwd: User unknown: wiki_res My account id is 'wiki_researcher', not 'wiki_res'. Does anyone have the same issue? The same happened for me when I tried to set the license during the acctrenew process. It did not work. I cancelled acctrenew and started setlicense (sp?) separately, and it worked. After that, acctrenew worked, too (without running setlicense within).
