we were not able to reach Mark or someone from the datacenter yet for a reboot of thyme. When thyme is rebooted we have to announce the read-only-switch of s1 ~24h in advantage. Than it will take a unknown time to dump and import the user-databases. I have to leave for a cash audit of WMDE at Wednesday and will be busy for 4 days (2 days for the cash-audit, 1 day general member meeting, 1 day community meeting and driving home again). So if we get not thyme rebooted until Monday it will most likely take another week to get a non-corrupt s1. If we get thyme rebooted in time we should have a non-corrupt s1 by Wednesday or Thursday.
Sincerely, DaB.
Hello,
as a temporary solution I brought back thyme as a sql-s1-rr-server. Please notice that thyme contains neither commons nor wikidata at the moment. But if you just need an unbroken enwiki you can use it.
Sincerely, DaB.

Any further news on this?

we regained access to thyme at Friday and Nosy mounted the dump-partition somewhen after. Now I have to find a wmf-tech who can tell me if there are still master-logs for our binary dump (otherwise we could end with a non- corrupted, but out-dated database). If I get a positive answer I can re-setup thyme's mysql on short-time-base; otherwise we have to face the much-time- needing "we-need-a-dump"-situation again.
Sincerely, DaB.

received a reply from Asher: our dump is too old. I will request a new one.
