at 2:00 AM UTC on August 7th (tomorrow), the stable server caching proxy, cache.stable.toolserver.org, will be shut down for emergency maintenance. expected downtime is less than 5 minutes, during which the cache will be unavailable. after the maintenance, the existing cache will be emptied.

the normal web server won't be affected by this maintenance.
