zedler will be offline from now for some maintenance
the result of this maintenance is: 1) the new login server, hemlock.knams.wikimedia.org has been installed. this is a dual-Opteron 254 with 8GB RAM and two 70GB SAS disks running Debian Linux. Daniel is setting it up to migrate users from zedler.
2) Zedler's SCSI HBA appears to be broken and will be RMA'd (this is required for the new storage).
