hi,
so the test version of the reports tool is now live at http://stable.toolserver.org/reptest/. the basic framework is in place, but the user interface needs work, and there are no useful reports yet.
Wuzur (W) has offered to improve the interface. we also need translations (i18n files). no doubt changes will need to be made to the software, so Python programmers would be helpful.
i've written some documentation here about how to develop the tool: https://wiki.toolserver.org/view/Report_tool (please feel free to extend this).
if you'd like to be added to the project, just open a request in the REPORTS project on JIRA.
- river.
I suggest using translatewiki for the internationalization process. I'm sure Siebrand will like the idea and help us through the process.

last time i asked about this, the response was basically 'sure, but you'll have to write all the code yourself' (to parse the message files, etc). i filed a bug for it:
https://jira.toolserver.org/browse/REPORTS-20
perhaps a good task for someone who would like to help but doesn't feel like working out how to use SVN or Python ;-)

Good. Translatewiki is surely a good idea.
