since traffic on toolserver-l has been fairly high recently, i have created a new list: toolserver-announce. you can subscribe to it at

this will be a low-volume, moderated announcement list.

all posts to toolserver-announce will also be posted to toolserver-l, so there's no reason to subscribe to both. i have updated the rules to indicate that subscribing to toolserver-announce instead of toolserver-l is acceptable.
