Hi toolserver admins,
Around two hours ago (15:16 UTC+2 according to Nagios bot) Dahne went down. Could someone please have a look at it?

the problem with daphne is hardware failure. we have a ticket open with Sun to identify the problem and provide new parts. this will take a few days.

we've spoked to Sun about this issue and they will ship a replacement motherboard for daphne, which hopefully will arrive this week. this is a fairly complicated part to replace so it might take a bit longer to get someone to do it.

And by then, it probably can't sync to s2 anymore, right?
Is there a spare available that could be used for the s2 replica in the meantime?

that depends how long it takes.

no. this is the purpose of the redundant database we recently purchased (which should be installed in a few weeks).

Hello,
I will just annonce that we have working backups of daphne's user-databases of october 10th. So if you need your database (because you joined it with commons on daphne (what you should not do ;)) and plan to join it now on yarrow for example), please open a request in JIRA.
Sincerly, DaB.
