Hi folks,
We just published "WikiCamps introduce young Armenians to Wikipedia” on the blog:
https://blog.wikimedia.org/2015/02/27/wikicamps-young-armenians-wikipedia/
Thanks to Samir Elsharbaty for writing this inspiring story - and to Andrew for his help in publishing it.
The well-designed structure of these WikiCamps seems to have made them particularly successful — and I like that students were encouraged to divide their time between editing Wikipedia and physical activities. It’s that type of thoughtful planning that can make a world of difference in all our programs. :)
