Just wanted to share some quick social media metrics for the Wikipedia Facebook account. The recent post https://www.facebook.com/wikipedia/posts/10152439045398346 linking to the tablet redesign blog post https://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/06/17/wikimedia-sites-get-a-new-look-on-tablets/ reached 106,000 users (our highest reach in a while). More recently, the post https://www.facebook.com/wikipedia/posts/10152455994748346 linking to the profile of Nepalese Wikipedian Ram Joshi https://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/06/24/writing-wikipedia-from-the-western-hills-of-nepal/ (and his famous feature phone) also reached 106,000 users (and counting), with 41 shares and 444 likes.

We’re still rolling out social media for todays Android app announcement https://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/06/25/revamped-wikipedia-app-now-available-on-android/, so hopefully we'll beat those numbers...
