Just wanted to share some quick social media metrics for the Wikipedia Facebook account. The recent post linking to the tablet redesign blog post reached 106,000 users (our highest reach in a while). More recently, the post linking to the profile of Nepalese Wikipedian Ram Joshi (and his famous feature phone) also reached 106,000 users (and counting), with 41 shares and 444 likes.

 

We’re still rolling out social media for todays Android app announcement, so hopefully we'll beat those numbers...
