Hi all,
Cascadia Wikimedians User Group now has a logo!
We've had intensive discussions about this logo over the past few days.
Included in the discussions have been our board members, members of other
US thematic organizations, a volunteer designer, and WMF Legal. Please
check out the new logo if you're interested (:

Thanks, Michael!
My recommendation would be to focus on ‘joining the open triage meeting’ rather than our VP — and include the time and date

We could also send the same message, but a bit longer on FB and Google+.
I’m Cc:ing the social media list for more suggestions.
What does everyone else think?

Yasser Latif Hamdani, a lawyer from Pakistan made some tweets to @Wikipedia and @Wikimedia, saying that I deleting/altering pages related to a religion. I thought of clearing it up through this email that I didn't edited or nominated for deletion any religious page..
Actually I nominated for deletion the bio page that subject created for self-promotional purpose. I guess he become upsets with the deletion nomination and put some false allegations.

In fairness, he's using "wiki" as a synonym for "Wikimedia projects", which
is a term not really familiar to a mass audience as you might imagine.
I'm not really sure what we can use instead that is short enough. Perhaps
"share your favorites from Wikimedia Commons" or something like that might
work.
(PS: Forgot to reply-all. Oops.)
