A look back at Wikimania 2014, focusing on Wikimedia program
activities. Includes a list of new tools, resources and strategies
that were presented at the conference (did you know that you can now
run SQL queries against Wikipedia's database from your browser?).

members might be quite excited about this)

Hey guys,
Myself and another WMUK-affiliated filmmaker recently shot a documentary
about the GLAM programme in the UK. We showed it at Wikimania and the
reception was fantastic. Today, we're uploading it to Commons/YouTube and
it'd be great to have it shared through the official channels as well.
I'm proposing the following:
- *t:* The GLAM-Wiki Revolution: An insight into the GLAM programme in
the United Kingdom, featuring several Wikipedians in Residence
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlNT16gqHyo
- *f/g:* Want to know how Wikimedia works with galleries, libraries,
archives and museums? The GLAM-Wiki Revolution investigates how the
movement has impacted the United Kingdom's cultural sector.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlNT16gqHyo
The video isn't uploaded fully yet, but should be by tomorrow (it's a
pretty large file!). So I'm proposing tomorrow.
*Link to Social Media Calendar:*
Let me know what you think!
best,
Joe
