Summary: interwikidump -*.txt not cleaned
Initial Comment:
Shouldn't interwikidump files be cleaned (reset to zero) after a run with -restore option?

I mean when a session with -restore option is successfully finished, i.e.
all pages contained in dump file have been processed. What's the reason for
keeping them anyway? It would be logical to erase the dump if all work is
restored.

No.
When interwiki.py is stopped during a run, it dumps the^set of pages it
was working on, to continue the work later on. And -restore allows that.
This bug report is invalid ^^

Summary: Query API CLI
Initial Comment:
query.py provides access to the Query.php API, but there is no command line interface for it. The attached patch provides one.
This patch on this bug needs to be fixed first:

Summary: template.py -remove end of line
Initial Comment:
When running template.py -remove <template> i noticed that the template is removed but not the end of line leaving some extra unneeded whitespace. For example:
http://nl.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Aleksandr_Chalifman&diff=prev&old…http://nl.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bent_Larsen&diff=prev&oldid=95283…
It would be nice if the only thing on a a line is
{{<template>}}
and the template is removed that also the end of line is removed.

Summary: Undo for replace.py

Can we have an undo option for the replace.py where it reads the last logs from the logfile, goes back to the last command and reverses it?

What do you mean by 'reversing'? Loading the previous version from the
version history, then rolling back to it? Then what you would get is not an
undo script for replace.py, but a multi-purpose tool which could also be
used for vandal-fighting etc. (isn't there something like that already?)

Summary: Package Cleanup?
Initial Comment:
Could Pywikimedia please be refactored into a real Python package? The current distribution is difficult to both use and maintain. It would be nice to have the ability to do "from wikipedia import blah" instead of the current spaghetti code approach of using dozens of miscellaneous non-coordinating user scripts.

Summary: use sort key in articles for category.py listify
Initial Comment:
The listify option of category.py generates a list based on the alphabetical ordering of the articles in the specified category. It would be great if the generated list was sorted based on the category's sort key given in the articles. This is especially needed for categories containing people where the articles are typically sorted based on last name first. For example, all of the categories in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Categories_to_be_listified_then_delet…
At present, listifying the above categories requires a fair amount of manual steps afterwards in order to get the list into last name first order.

Summary: Using interwiki links to categorize pages
Initial Comment:
It should be possible to use interwiki links to categorize pages on small wiki's .
If a cateogry has interwiki link and some pages in that category have also interwiki links
then on other wiki that category should be places on relevant pages that are linked from first wiki

Summary: Undo or Previous option for solve disambiguation.py
Initial Comment:
If I accidentally choose Skip, or I accidentally choose the wrong number, I'd like to be able to go back to the previous page and try again. So ideally I'd like an Undo feature.

Yes, I understand that. But what I want is for the Undo feature to undo
that edit, and then allow me to make a new selection.

But the previous page has probably already been sent to the wiki server.
