Summary: Let interwiki.py warn when pages were emptied.
Initial Comment:
This edit in manually controlled mode:
http://ro.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=1298&diff=prev&oldid=1760800
appears to be a result of this one:
http://fa.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%DB%B1%DB%B2%DB%B9%DB%B8_%28%D9%8…
If you follow either page history, you'll find that both have been revoked later.
In my opinion, treating an empty page like a nonexistant page is not always justified, mostspecifically, when there are interwiki links pointing to it. While there may be no other choice in automatic and autonomous mode, in manually controlled mode there is. As a bot operator I wish to see a message saying something like: "[[zxx:sample]] is an empty page." or the like, so as to be able to check the page for possible vandalism.
I admit, in huge batches, this message may easily happen to go undetected, since is would usually not be appearing anywhere near the messages about the changes caused by the empty page, but that is imho not an argument against having it.

Summary: Namespace correction
Initial Comment:
Hello, It would be fine while doing nonautonomously interwiki in another namespace (mainly in category) when bot find interwiki to anoter namespace
NOTE: en:Category:Foo is in namespace 14, but de:Foo is in namespace 0. follow it anyway? (Y/N)
to add new option nameSpace, which means bot to try find de:CATEGORY:Foo in the correct namespace

Summary: create library for diffs, expand userlib
Initial Comment:
Add a new library, editlib, for parsing diffs. It will parse the diff html page, extracting info like editor, time, edit summary, etc, and creating lists of the lines and words marked as added and deleted. More details can be found in the docstrings.
For use with editlib, some new functions are also added to userlib. These will get the user's registration date, the number of edits the user has made, and the number of vandalism warnings on the user's talk page.
Only Wikipedia:en is supported - some of the regular expressions rely on English text. Within that scope, I've done reasonably thorough testing on the editlib functions, and somewhat less thorough testing on the new functions for userlib.
All of this is designed for use with automated vandalism detection. I am working on a bot to do just that - User:Kalbot - but it's still in an early experimental stage. I am User:DKalkin on the English Wikipedia, and can be reached at dkalkin(a)gmail.com.
This is the first time I've submitted a patch to any sourceforge project. Apologies if I've screwed anything up.

Currently SF attachment doesn't work, you can use an alternative bug
tracker hosted by Toolserver: https://jira.toolserver.org/browse/PYWP
Thanks.

Summary: inaccessible external links
Initial Comment:
Isn't it possible to create a bot that checks when the external links
works again?
The bot uses the category with inaccessible external links.
When an external link is accessible again the bod removes the message from
the talkpage, the bot marks the talkpage with the template for speedy
deletion.

Kenny (from the Dutch Wikipedia
