Hi Marta
I'm interested. I would like to join.
Last month, the Spanish National Library abolished payment for commercial use of digital images of works in the public domain.

With the idea of supporting this agreement, and asking that it be extended to other similar content (PARES, CERES). we have launched a campaign on change.org

Dear all,
I hope this email finds you well.
The Digital Cultural Heritage research group of ICOM Italy has been invited by the board of directors to study the themes of Copyright and Open Licenses on the web related to the reproduction of cultural heritage for publication on the Internet. The first step will be the creation of a FAQ document, easy to understand and ready to use, for Museums, Libraries and Archives. We will try to identify and answer the questions that many cultural heritage professionals are faced with almost daily.
The working group, composed by Sarah Dominique Orlandi (coordinator), Anna Maria Marras, Deborah De Angelis, Pierfrancesco Fasano, Cristina Manasse and Mirco Modolo, is drawing up the first list of questions divided in macro-areas.
We will also set up a second group of selected stakeholders, which will play a fundamental role in conducting critical analyses and supporting the working group. This stakeholder group will provide suggestions on relevant topics and research methodology as well as verify the questions and validate the first draft of the document. We believe that you can be part of this stakeholder group. This only requires a small commitment, nonetheless fundamental to improve the drafting of the document and to make sure that all issues of interest are adequately addressed.
If you should you be interested in participating, in two weeks we will send you the list of questions, organized by themes, to gather your suggestions and comments related to your areas of competence or interest.
In the hope of a positive response, I will be waiting for your kind reply. Sincerely. Sarah Dominique Orlandi
