I haven't tried MediaWiki 1.20 yet but 1.18 seems to be OK.
Also ran into initial PHP issues that were fairly straightforward to fix
up; these patches haven't been committed yet.
b) The special pages link in mediawiki opens a blank
page. I have
tried various solutions for this problem that I found in posts from
other users, but with no success.

There's stream-addition errors in 1.18 that I haven't been able to resolve
yet.
I have been unable to locate a
document that explains which versions of mediawiki/semantic
mediawiki/metavid are the proper ones for a successful installation, can
you please point me to any such information so I can implement my
project?
