Dear all,
we made good progress porting the JS LaTeX to MathML conversion to PHP.
However, I am uncertain how to proceed with the <chem> tags.
When we initially designed the conversion (a one-semester seminar project at the University of Konstanz) we, unfortunately, picked a soon-to-be deprecated branch of mhchem which causes some headaches until today.
To avoid similar problems in the future, I am looking for people knowledgeable about the latest developments with the LaTeX package mhchem
