Hi Folks,
We encourage each and everyone of you to create a program submission. You can submit an interactive workshop or panel, a lecture, a short lighting talk or a poster for our dedicated poster session. Submissions are catered to both onsite and online (live or pre-recorded) or a hybrid combination. We at the Core Organizing Team would like to see a program submission related to Mathematics and Wiki.
The theme for this year's Wikimania is Diversity, Collaboration, Future. Topics that strengthen collaboration on online activities and projects are topics we like to see this year. It is great way to see participants collaborate with each other. There is a high importance in the Singapore education system, particularly in mathematics. Singapore support systems created and in place include the ‘Night study’ program, supplementary classes, head-start program, remedial lessons, and one-to-one consultation. This is an opportunity for you to present a topic that entice a sizable audience.
There is also a spacious Wikimania Expo space where interactive activities such as poster sessions, exhibits, demonstrations happen. It is expected that students, Singapore academe, and various institutions will visit the conference.
For participants joining virtually, we also have allocated online hours for you too to allow you to participate & present.
Session submissions for Wikimania 2023 are open until 28 March.

Dear all,
we made good progress porting the JS LaTeX to MathML conversion to PHP.
However, I am uncertain how to proceed with the <chem> tags.
When we initially designed the conversion (a one-semester seminar
project at the University of Konstanz) we, unfortunately, picked a
soon-to-be deprecated branch of mhchem which causes some headaches
until today.
To avoid similar problems in the future, I am looking for people
knowledgeable about the latest developments with the LaTeX package
mhchem
https://ctan.org/pkg/mhchem?lang=en
and/or displaying chemical sum formulae with MathML.
Please reach out to me directly via email or comment on

All the best
