Subject: Invitation to join the Wikimedia Affiliate strategy Phase- II
To:
Dear Affiliate representative,
Hope this message finds you well. I am sharing an update about the
Wikimedia Foundation Affiliate strategy initiative. In November, Nataliia
Tymkiv, Chair, Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees announced the
beginning of Wikimedia Foundation Affiliate strategy
<https://lists.wikimedia.org/hyperkitty/list/wikimedia-l@lists.wikimedia.org…>
.
We are working on the next steps of the Affiliate strategy. We invite you
to a session with the Board of Trustees, AffCom, and supporting staff to
provide input into this process. These sessions will be conducted in groups
and the language will be English. If you are able to attend one of these
meetings, please sign up here
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Foundation_Affiliates_Strategy#Li…>.
If you prefer a 1:1 session for a detailed discussion, please reach out to
me. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please respond via the survey
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScyRTQSIMYj9ymX4S-pbjtpZSqnQ8Icr-P…>
or in writing to askcac(a)wikimedia.org or on the Talk page
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Wikimedia_Foundation_Affi…>
.
If you are no longer the appropriate contact for this affiliate
organization, please let me know who I should contact.
Best,
Manav
P.S. Each affiliate is invited to send two representatives to the meeting.
If the affiliate contacts are not available, representatives from the
affiliates can substitute the affiliate contacts.
