Hello,
For the worldwide table, it may be a good idea to link directly to the main page for the table: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:2019%E2%80%9320_coronavirus_pandemic_...
This page is transcluded to the "2019–20 coronavirus pandemic by country and territory" article. We are receiving many user requests in the talk page for the later article, but that is not watched by as many people and it is not the best place to report issues.
Best,
Mario Gómez
Not sure what you mean?

Google cites https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019%E2%80%9320_coronavirus_pandemic_by_countr... as the source for the counts table. It seems some users are finding that page from Google results and posting requests on its talk page. But most people updating the table are watching the template page instead: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:2019%E2%80%9320_coronavirus_pandemic_...
If Google cites the template directly, we might increase the chance of new users posting their requests in a place where they will be attended faster.
Best,
Mario Gómez
Maybe we should ask Google to cite https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:2019%E2%80%9320_coronavirus_pandemic_...
Instead :-) I think we have the Googlers on this mailing list...

Hi James and Mario,
I'll follow-up with our Product team directly on this feedback to update the cited source, but a good chunk of our Product team is based out of Israel and likely out of office for Passover holiday the rest of this week, so we may not have a response for a few days. I've also asked Maryana to include it as feedback in this week's edition of the digest.
Thanks for surfacing! Nik
