Google cites https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019%E2%80%9320_coronavirus_pandemic_by_country_and_territory as the source for the counts table. It seems some users are finding that page from Google results and posting requests on its talk page. But most people updating the table are watching the template page instead: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:2019%E2%80%9320_coronavirus_pandemic_data

If Google cites the template directly, we might increase the chance of new users posting their requests in a place where they will be attended faster.
