Hey Billinghurst, At the moment there is no documented way to rotate log files for the tools (or I couldn't find one).

We are still working on improving logging (T152235 for one https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T152235 )

In the meantime, you can schedule logrotate through your tool or personal account and it should take care of it. I can help you through it if needed.
