Wikistream is a tool that has been around for the Wikimedia movement for quite a while. It provides a web interface showing real-time editing data across many Wikimedia projects. The data for this comes from the IRC recent changes feeds. The webservice is written in nodejs and currently running on the Toolforge Kubernetes cluster.
