Hi,
people from gerrit's “Analytics” group [1] currently hold
* Push (including Force Push) * Push Merge Commit * Forge Author Identiy * Forge Committer Identity
permissions on “analytics/*” projects in gerrit. But those permissions got and get in the way one way or the other.
Do we need those permissions for our repos?
If no one objects, I'll start removing them on 2014-04-28.
Best regards, Christian

Force push seems that it could only give us trouble, so I am all for removing it. I though we no longer had permits to do "Push Merge Commit" on master, I assumed only gerrit could do that.

Hi,
TL;DR: If your projects in analytics/* just stopped allowing you to directly push or your git workflow with them just broke, let me know.

No one objected and zoooooom only 6 months later I finished :-)
I just dropped those permissions from the analytics root project. So we can no longer directly push by accident.
If this broke your workflow, please let me know, and I'll grant you push again for the needed projects.
Have fun, Christian
